Before you book
You book a seat, not a vehicle. There is no minimum group size and nobody to co-ordinate with — pick a date, book the number of seats you need, and be at the boarding point in Munnar Town by 06:00. Transport is shared between everyone on that departure, which is what keeps the cost down.
About 2 km uphill, taking roughly two hours on the slope. It is rated simple to moderate: if you are comfortable walking uphill for half an hour at a stretch, you will manage it. The whole trip runs 06:00 to about 11:00.
Yes. The Chokramudi slopes are in kurinji bloom this season. The plants here belong to the Mattupetty–Kannimala population, which flowers on its own twelve-year cycle — 1990, 2002, 2014 and now 2026 — and the bloom runs through September and October. (The Eravikulam bloom people remember from 2018 is a separate clock, next due in 2030.) Message us with your date and our guides will tell you what the slope looked like that week — they are on it every morning at 07:00.
From a designated boarding point in Munnar Town at 06:00. You can join from anywhere you are staying in Munnar — you just need to reach the boarding point on time. We confirm the exact spot with you before the trip.
One day before the trip at 18:00 IST. Seats are subject to availability, and once booking closes for a date we cannot add anyone to it.
A short stop on the way back from Chokramudi for the panoramic mountain and valley views. Light snacks are available there and are self-sponsored — they are not included in the seat price.
